Last week, a piece of Milan's history was made, particularly because the new Generali Stadium was officially presented. The 71,500-seat venue will be built alongside the current San Siro to bring greater prestige and modernity to the city of Milan and its football.
Very little of what exists today will remain, although the architect of Milan's new stadium reportedly has a project in mind that could appeal to the more romantic and nostalgic fans who would not want to say goodbye to San Siro forever.
In this regard, the Italian newspaper Tuttosport have published the following words:
"Foster, San Siro and the Battersea Station project"
The headline is referring to one of the most distinctive symbols of present-day London, despite being one of the oldest buildings in the entire British capital.
