This evening at 20:45, Fonseca's Milan, with just one point after a few matches, will take the stage at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome to face Baroni's Lazio.

The Biancocelesti, after a strong debut win against Venezia, fell on Udinese's field and now want to return to winning ways in front of their home fans.

The last encounter between Milan and Lazio...

The last clash between these two teams was on March 1, 2024, and the match at the Olimpico heated up in the final moments. After a first half lacking in excitement, but with a huge missed opportunity by Vecino in the opening minutes, everything happened in the second half.

At the 57th minute, Lazio was reduced to ten men due to Pellegrini's expulsion, but the red card stemmed from a foul that went unnoticed by the referee between Bennacer and Castellanos, with the Lazio player left on the ground. Pulisic continued to play, and Pellegrini, who was already on a yellow card, instead of kicking the ball out, brought down the American player, receiving a second yellow. There was a scuffle on the field and on the benches, with Sarri confronting Pioli.

In the final moments, Immobile missed an incredible goal, and on the counterattack, a goal by Leao was disallowed. When the match seemed destined for a 0-0 draw, Okafor in the box beat Provedel, sending the away fans into a frenzy.

In stoppage time, the game turned into a wild west, with Lazio finishing the match with eight players after red cards were shown to Marusic and Guendouzi (with the one to the Frenchman being particularly harsh), writes Milan News.
