AC Milan striker Álvaro Morata spoke to Sky Sport Italia after the 1-3 defeat in the Champions League at San Siro against Liverpool.
How do you switch for the derby?
"I don’t know how, but we have to. Otherwise, it becomes difficult. Today was the first match in the Champions League, and I hope it serves as a lesson to understand that against big teams, we need to be attentive to every detail."
Is the problem more tactical or about attitude? Morata answered:
"It’s neither a tactical problem nor one of attitude. Football is like that. We have to change immediately and move forward."
Is it time for players like you to step up?
"There are many important and experienced players. We need to become a solid team, not give others the chance to hurt us, and react better to situations."
