In fact, Billy Costacurta, former legendary Milan defender, spoke highly of the 24-year-old Italian. Here's what he said to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia:
"Gabbia has a talent that other defenders don't have: reading the game. I don't know if you noticed, but he made 2-3 interventions to anticipate the movements of the opposing forwards, and he was very, very good."
