After a los derby, Inter returned to winning ways today. Simone Inzaghi's team won away from home against Udinese. It was a 2-3 result, thanks to a brace by Lautaro Martinez who scored his first two goals in the ongoing Serie A campaign.
The Italian coach, Simone Inzaghi, spoke to the the media in a post-match press conference and mentioned last weekend's derby:
"The two goals are goals we should have avoided. Sommer was excellent in managing the ball but conceded two goals without making any saves. Our opponents are extremely dangerous when they enter the box. We should have done better as a team on the two goals. Lucca broke away towards our goal with a two-goal advantage; we need to work better on our play without the ball. It had been almost two years since we lost a derby, and it's been two years since we prepared for a game with such difficulties because losing a derby is not like losing a normal match."
