On the sidelines of the Urban Regeneration Forum, which takes place in Milan, Mayor Giuseppe Sala has once again discussed the issue of the Milan and Inter stadium, offering an update.
Here are his statements:
"Soon we will be in a position to finalise the terms with the teams regarding their interest," he said. "We don't have a specific date yet, but the municipality's matter with the Revenue Agency is nearing completion."
Sala added:
"The first requirement is the sale value, as we are no longer talking about a long-term concession. The second concerns the limitations due to the restrictions."
He concluded:
"Whether or not we are close to a solution depends on the willingness of the teams, but we are certainly approaching a discussion."
