One of the names linked to AC Milan's midfield in recent weeks is that of Richard Rios, a talent from Palmeiras, although a significant obstacle has emerged in recent hours, writes Pianeta Milan.

The Rossoneri explored the possibility of signing him during the summer transfer window, but the Brazilian club ultimately decided not to let him go. With Ismael Bennacer’s injury, however, there will undoubtedly be a reinforcement in that area of the field in January.
Many profiles have been scouted by the AC Milan directors, and among them, according to the latest reports, is Richard Rios.
According to 'Antena 2', the Rossoneri club management is one of the clubs most interested in the Colombian talented midfielder who is 24 years old. But, Premier League club West Ham and especially Paris Saint-Germain are also in the race, with the French making a strong move in recent hours.
Additionally, the Parisian club reportedly submitted an offer of around 20 million euros plus bonuses. Palmeiras has currently rejected it, but there may be room for negotiation in the coming weeks. The Rossoneri are monitoring the situation, they will need to dig deep into their pockets to be able to sign the player.
