Through the microphones of 'Milan TV,' former Rossoneri icon Filippo Galli analysed Fonseca's team achievement in their 3-1 victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu last night:
"I didn't expect this five-man defence, given that Musah practically played low on the right to support Emerson Royal. Everyone had a great game, though—they played as a team for the whole match, and in the end, it was a well-deserved win. Milan played with great precision and confidence."
Filippo Galli added:

"This could truly be the turning point of the season. Milan won the game because they played without fear. It means being aware of their own abilities and having faith in the work they’re doing. Musah had an outstanding game. Milan made few mistakes and always tried to trouble Real. The quality of the Rossoneri players was evident, from Leao to Reijnders, and even Morata, who put in another strong performance besides scoring."
On AC Milan's Malick Thiaw, Galli said:
"Thiaw's goal was also crucial as it gave him more confidence, even in defence."
