A few days ago, during the presentation of the photobook celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Club, we reported a statement from the owner, Gerry Cardinale, in the preface of the book. It said: "We are committed to preserving Milan's legacy, with an obsession for returning the Club to the top of European football."
As explained by Antonio Vitiello in his editorial for Milannews.it, the word 'obsession' stayed with the fans. The obsession to win and to bring the Rossoneri back to the summit of football. The intentions are admirable, but then you glance at the Serie A standings, and reality paints a very different picture, raising countless doubts and concerns.

Is Gerry Cardinale okay with the situation at Milan?
The current team seems anything but a team obsessed with winning. On the contrary, it has a league win rate that doesn’t even reach 50%. The Rossoneri team has won only 5 matches out of 12 in Serie A, already trailing by 10 points from first place and 9 points from fourth.
Analyzing the team’s path, it becomes clear that Milan was never in the title race, not even in August.
In the first three matches, the Rossoneri drew against Torino, lost to Parma, and drew with Lazio. Two points in three games, and the writing was already on the wall.
Forget the Scudetto, Milan's focus shifted to securing a Champions League spot.
The entire team, including the coach, must acknowledge the challenging moment and fight with determination because, at this pace, things could take a serious turn for the worse.
The Rossoneri still hasn’t found a clear playing identity, and we’re already in December. In their last league match, they needed a win to climb the standings, but Milan didn’t even try — not a single shot on target in 90 minutes against Juventus.
Tonight, there’s the Champions League, and winning is the bare minimum against a team that still has zero points in the competition.
