As per the Italian newspaper, Il Corriere della Sera, Fonseca, through a plea bargain, will attempt to secure a hefty fine instead of a suspension.

On Sunday evening, the club’s 125th-anniversary celebration is scheduled against Genoa: a grand event without the coach on the bench would be far from ideal.
Paulo Fonseca's plea bargain, however, also has a strategic purpose:
it’s quite clear that the Portuguese head coach went too far in Bergamo, and the refereeing authorities are furious, so it’s better to tone things down.
This is why yesterday, President Paolo Scaroni tried to quell the controversy, stating: "Referees are always right by definition."
