CorSera: Who is Fonseca angry with? A few suspects on the list, including Milan captain Calabria

Corriere della Sera analyses the situation at Casa Milan following Paulo Fonseca's outburst yesterday:

"When asked who he was referring to, the Portuguese coach did not respond, adding that he will need to 'talk to the players.' That is what is happening today at Milanello. The coach arrived at 9:13 AM. One thing is certain: the target is not the entire team but rather specific individuals—two, three, or four. One of them is certainly Theo Hernandez, who has been unrecognizable for some time and was the worst player on the field yesterday. His attitude, both in training and during matches, is under scrutiny. It is evident that his mind is elsewhere. This morning, he was among the last to arrive at Milanello, though not late. From a leader, much more is expected."

On AC Milan's captain, Davide Calabria, who was visibly upset for being substituted:

"Davide Calabria was also disappointing. He left the field yesterday wearing the captain's armband, visibly displeased with being substituted. He didn’t acknowledge his coach—in fact, he actively avoided him. Fonseca expected much more from him, especially after giving him this opportunity. Another serious issue was Fikayo Tomori’s behavior, as he managed to pick up a yellow card while warming up, leading to a suspension for the next match without even playing. It’s absurd. It’s unacceptable."

On Fonseca's situation:

"It’s clear that the Portuguese coach expects more from all of them. Equally clear is that he also demands much more from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has been playing at a snail’s pace for months."
