Yesterday, Sergio Conceição officially began his new adventure as head coach of AC Milan.
The Portuguese manager has replaced his compatriot Paulo Fonseca, signing a contract until 2026.
He will earn just over one million euros until June, in addition to various bonuses (one tied to qualifying for the next Champions League and another for winning a trophy).
Starting next season, his salary will rise to 3.5 million euros.
Conceição's first speech at Milan:
This was reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, which explained that, after arriving in Milan early in the afternoon with his staff, the new Rossoneri coach immediately went to Milanello to meet the team and lead his first training session.

In his initial address to the players, Conceição emphasised that he considers this Milan squad, given the quality of the roster, to be a top-tier team in Italy and Europe. He encouraged everyone to believe in themselves and called for a change of course.
His first objective will be to "recover" (particularly on a mental level) players like Theo Hernández and Rafael Leao, who had struggled to connect with Fonseca.
Milan, no more excuses
Conceição was greeted at the club's training centre by the entire Rossoneri executives team: CEO Giorgio Furlani, technical area director Geoffrey Moncada, and Zlatan Ibrahimović. The Swede, in particular, addressed the team to explain the decision to change coaches and, above all, to motivate the group.
The retired striker delivered a stern speech, during which he acknowledged that Fonseca's dismissal is a failure for everyone, not just the Portuguese coach.
Ibrahimovic demanded an immediate change in attitude, stressing that there are no longer any excuses. It is now up to the players to respond and deliver results.
