After the victory in the derby and winning the Italian Super Cup, Rafael Leao spoke to Milan TV microphones:
"This is the victory of a team that always believed in itself. Inter is a tough opponent, but Conceiçao gave us the right energy we need to have, even if we don't play well. And then, compliments to the entire team. Those who have been here for longer remember well that the last time we were here, we lost. This time, we wanted to bring the cup home."
Rafael Leao added:
"I always believed I could make a contribution. I was disappointed not to be able to play against Juve, but I wasn't ready. I worked hard to be prepared for this match. Winning is an incredible emotion. Those who have been here longer know that winning the Scudetto was something extraordinary. Now, even the younger players know what it means to win something."
