Geoffrey Moncada, Milan’s technical director, and Jovan Kirovski, head director of Milan Futuro, have been admitted to the sporting director course at the University of Salento (Unisalento): neither of them currently holds the required license.
According to Gazzetta.it, the names of the two Rossoneri executives unexpectedly appeared in a document published on the University of Salento’s website titled:
"List of Admitted Candidates for the Football Sporting Director Training Course."
For the second consecutive year, Unisalento’s Department of Legal Sciences has organized this course, which allows students to obtain the necessary qualifications to take the sporting director exam in Coverciano and earn the official FIGC license.
On February 21, the university’s website published the list of 30 candidates admitted for the 2024/2025 course, including Geoffrey Moncada and Jovan Kirovski, alongside Manuel Caruso, the club’s secretary, who also applied. The goal is to obtain a qualification recognized by the FIGC, as their training has so far taken place exclusively outside Italy.
Milan in a tough race for the fourth spot
The Rossoneri executives will have to find solutions in the next transfer window to strengthen the squad, possibly considering high-profile departures. Meanwhile, experts are assessing Milan’s increasingly difficult chances of finishing in the top four. However, the odds offered by betting sites could still hold some surprises, as relayed via Calcio Mercato.
