In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, former footballer Massimo Ambrosini, now a pundit for DAZN, previewed the Coppa Italia final between Milan and Bologna — a trophy he won with the Rossoneri back in 2003.
Has Milan found the right system with the 3-4-3?
"The team now has better balance and energy compared to a few months ago. Milan has always had a strong squad, but when the collective setup is well-oiled, it enhances the qualities of individuals — like Leao and Theo, but also Reijnders and Tomori."

Dan Ndoye and Riccardo Orsolini could be key players for Bologna. Who stands out for Milan?
"Reijnders, because he has the physical attributes to cause problems with his dynamism and ability to make runs at the right time."
Santiago Gimenez or Luka Jovic: who will start? Ambrosini replied:
"Jovic has talent and is good, but this season — partly due to injuries — he hasn’t been consistent. To be Milan’s striker, consistency is a must. Gimenez arrived in January and had a physical issue. He hasn’t played enough to give a final judgment, but he has improved in recent games."
And what about Milan’s overall performance?
"Too many times they’ve failed to seize the opportunity to show their quality. Winning two cups isn’t enough if you’re not competing for the club’s minimum target — a top-four league finish."
