AC Milan defender Francesca Vitale spoke to the Milan TV’s microphone.

Here her words:

On the final games of the season:

"We are ready. We want to get to the end of the season and achieve our goals, so, in these final games we will give our best. We are training well; we are charged up, we want to do well, we give our best during training and we want to show what we do during the week in the matches."

On Napoli:

"Every team has a goal, and those are the final games, so everyone wants to get to the end and make it work. Napoli’s goal is to avoid relegation, so in the last few weeks they had some good results, won and drew games, so, surely, they come to come to Milan to make a result, to make a great game, but we have to be better and do even better than the first game."

On Milan’s goals this season:

"It certainly depends on us, our fate in our hands, we make our own destinies and so, yes, it is all up to us. We have to go on the pitch with determination, with the desire to win because we have to win all the games until the last one, so this is the only way to achieve our goals, like the Champions League spot."

On another year with the rossonere:

"Yeah, it's an more year, and a year of experience and so there's a growth in the group there's a growth from the staff to the players of all. Definitely the team has been strengthened this summer, with important players, and even those who have come during the season are certainly very experienced players, who can only help us and give us more value, so we grew on this aspect. In my opinion, it makes quite the difference."

On the 3-5-2 formation:

"It is a different formation, indeed, quite different, but we tried it from the beginning and, according to mister Ganz, it was the formation that was better for us, our team played better this way. Personally, I am happy. I feel good playing like this, I like because I can push a little forward, I can help up front, I have more freedom, to roam. Yes, it is more tiring in my opinion because you run much more, and you must put pressure in your opponent, but I like I, I’m enjoying it."

The AC Milan’s defense:

"For me, there is a lot of compactness among us, defenders, there is a lot of feeling. We help each other so much, we are very united back there, doesn’t matter who plays. I can tell you that, in my opinion, this is our strength, to help each other in all situations."

On her performances so far:

"The important thing was to win, to always win, so we won, we got two victories in a row. Personally, I do have to improve so much, I always must improve so I have to do much more, probably, but I try to do it every day I’m on the pitch. I try to make myself available to the team and to do my best, then we have to take home the three points, so this is the only thing that matters."
