Giovanni Branchini, agent among others of Milan’s new coach Massimiliano Allegri, spoke on Radio Anch'io Sport on Radio Rai about the recent choice of the Livorno-born coach to return to Rossoneri:

"We analyzed the concrete and real proposal that we received. The 'it is said' (meaning rumours) took on an excessive importance in our world. There is a race to anticipate events that often can lead to mistakes. Several clubs have approached Max Allegri in recent months, but we have to make decisions based on how much concrete materializes. At the moment when an interesting proposal materialized at a club liked by the coach, an agreement was found very quickly. Many times imagination goes beyond reality."

Was there also an offer from Roma for Massimiliano Allegri?

"No, there was no offer at this stage. There was an attempt at contact many months ago, but we considered it very little credible. There were no developments and there wasn’t even contact."

Are you worried about the relationship between Massimiliano Allegri and Zlatan Ibrahimovic? Branchini replied:

"I am not worried. In the Milan organizational chart, I do not find Ibrahimovic’s name with a specific role. Ibra is a consultant for Redbird, but at Milan everyone realized that there is a need for unity, for understanding, for something that has been missing in recent months. I am not so worried, I hope that the club made this choice knowing that, beyond changing some pieces, it is necessary to change some approaches towards the players and the environment."
