Carlo Pellegatti, in his morning video on his YouTube channel, spoke about Milan’s transfer market and in particular about the idea of bringing in a center forward:
“Allegri has made things clear to the club: we play in Serie A and he wants attackers, center forwards who play in Serie A. Even Gimenez, who played for 3 or 4 months, still has to fully convince Allegri of his potential. It must be said that the way he was used by Milan, with a style of play that required him to come toward the ball instead of making runs, clearly makes it impossible to deliver a final, clear, and lucid judgment at this moment. Gimenez remains a question mark that could turn into an exclamation point if used in a way that suits his characteristics.”
Pellegatti went on to speak about what he defines as Massimiliano Allegri’s dream:
“Returning to Allegri, the coach asked for a player who knows the Italian league well. Vlahovic or Retegui—some might even think of Hojlund, who played one year in Serie A. So, I’ll tell you who Massimiliano Allegri’s dream is. Massimiliano Allegri’s dream is a center forward whom he appreciated, whom he liked a lot even though he wasn’t prolific that year: the player in question is Fiorentina's Moise Kean. He would be ideal for Milan: Italian, knows Italian football very well. A great friend of Rafa Leao, he would run to join Milan.”
Moise Kean, the Italy center-forward made 44 appearances with Fiorentina in the 24-25 season. He managed to score 25 goals across Serie A, Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Conference League competition. In total, he clocked around 3500 minutes on the pitch. According to Transfermarkt, his value is around 40 million euros. Kean's contract runs until 2029.
