After the first two announcements, Napoli is trying to inject new momentum into the transfer market. The Neapolitan club wants to provide Antonio Conte — as per the agreements — with a good portion of the signings already within about a month, that is, by the start date of the first of the two summer training camps.
As of today, this is a scenario that is anything but simple, considering the decidedly high valuations at this early stage of the market. Meanwhile, there are new contacts for reinforcements in attack, with Lucca from Udinese and Núñez from Liverpool still the top choices on the list, as well as in defense with Bologna for Beukema and the offensive winger Ndoye (a new update has also been made with the Swiss player’s agents).
For the left flank, however, the range of options is truly wide — from the international profile of Sancho to the more promising one of Nusa, not to mention Lang from PSV or the Chiesa opportunity. Moves in midfield are instead on standby, first and foremost Yunus Musah, because in that department something might change compared to the club’s initial plans.
By the way, while you wait for transfer market news during the summer break, you can still be entertained by checking out the Aviator game. This game is a flight simulator where you are the pilot and only you decide when to land to win. The gameplay is unique and fun. You can also gain some interesting bonuses while you're at it.
Anguissa seemed ready to leave — almost a foregone scenario — and yet, for the second consecutive year, a reconsideration may be on the cards. The midfielder had expressed the desire for a change of scenery, a life choice, also considering the courtship from Al-Qadsiah, but a reversal is possible.
Speaking of Anguissa again, according to what was reported by Sky Sport, the player’s intention is changing thanks to Napoli’s stance, as the club has opened up to renewing the player’s contract without resorting to the unilateral option in the current agreement.
Therefore, as long as Frank Anguissa is staying at Napoli, it seems that Yunus Musah's transfer would be difficult.
The 29-year-old, formerly of Marseille, Villarreal, and Fulham, stands at 184 centimetres tall. In the 2024/2025 season under the guidance of Italian head coach Antonio Conte, he made 37 appearances with six goals and five assists to his name. On the pitch, he clocked almost 3000 minutes between Serie A and Coppa Italia competitions.
What about Yunus Musah?
The American midfielder, who seems to be out of Massimiliano Allegri's plans, continues to wait for developments from the Napoli side with his bags ready in one hand. The 22-year-old, with a contract running until the summer of 2028 was signed by AC Milan from Valencia two years ago for a fee around 21 million euros. In the 2024/2025 season campaign, he featured 40 times for the Rossoneri across all competitions (Serie A, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana, and UEFA Champions League). He did not manage to find the back of the net, but he did provide 3 assists. Overall, he played 2237 minutes.
