As reported by well-known journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio on his website, Milan is pushing to sign Pervis Estupiñán, the left-back who is set to leave Brighton.
In fact, the English club has recently made the signing of Maxim De Cuyper official, meaning the Ecuadorian defender is no longer in their plans for a starting role. This has led to Milan’s interest, and just yesterday they submitted an offer of around €12–13 million for Estupiñán’s transfer. However, Brighton is asking for more.
Below are the latest updates from Gianluca Di Marzio:
"Confidence is growing regarding Estupiñán. In recent hours, the Rossoneri management, together with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes, have been working to lower Brighton’s financial demands. Talks between the parties are ongoing, and the gap should no longer be the biggest obstacle. The player himself is also pushing for a move to Milan. The next few hours will be decisive."
