Malick Thiaw is ready to bid farewell to AC Milan for good.
The deal with Newcastle, now in its final stages, marks the German defender’s departure from the Rossoneri after three seasons. In fact, the centre-back, who is set to join the Premier League, will undergo his medicals for the Magpies in the coming hours.

The operation is worth a total of 40 million euros, with Milan recording a significant capital gain of around 35 million euros. Despite repeated attempts from Tare and Allegri to keep the young defender at the club, Thiaw was determined to commit to Newcastle’s project.
Thiaw’s numbers at Milan
As reported by Transfermarkt, Malick Thiaw made 85 appearances for Milan, scoring just one goal, an iconic strike in last season’s 3–1 win at the Bernabéu against Real Madrid, and providing two assists. Thiaw leaves Milan having won one trophy: the Italian Super Cup, in that sweet Arabian night against Inter.
