Matteo Moretto spoke on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, providing an update on Milan’s search for a striker:
“As of today, we have no indications of any contact for Kean. What we know is that Milan are still working on the Højlund track, but there’s no agreement yet with the player, even though it’s true that he has shown a willingness to listen to the Rossoneri’s proposal. At the moment, however, he is still insisting on a permanent transfer."
Moretto added:
"Højlund will be involved in this weekend’s Premier League action, we’ll see if United use him or not, but I believe that starting next week, Milan will know whether they can bring him in or not. That said, Milan are also working on other options, even though the Højlund one is the most concrete. But it’s not the only one.”
