Ahead of the official start of Manchester City's season tomorrow against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home, Tijjani Reijnders spoke with the 'Cityzens' official website.
Here are the words of the Dutch midfielder as he spoke about his move to Manchester City from AC Milan:
"It’s a proud thing [to be working under Pep] – he’s one of the best coaches there is. To become even more complete as a midfielder is why I made the choice to join Manchester City. I had a good season with AC Milan, and you always want to get better. I will try to reach my highest level here – with a coach and team like this, I think I can make those steps quicker and I think I will learn a lot here."

Reijnders added:
"I will try to reach my highest level here – with a coach and team like this, I think I can make those steps quicker and I think I will learn a lot here. It’s about the position you take when you have the ball, but also how we want to press the opponent and giving them no time to think when they have the ball. I can now see close how it works. I’m a midfielder who likes to play box-to-box – starting with the build-up and be the connection to the attacking phase. I’m always looking to try and score a goal or give an assist. That’s the kind of midfielder I am like."
