Christian Pulisic, the MVP, spoke to DAZN at the end of Udinese-Milan 0-2. Here are his words:
Can you tell us about the goal?
“When Modric has the ball, this is my job: to attack the space behind the defence. I saw the space, I made the run, took a touch and scored.”
You did not celebrate straight away. Did you think you were offside?
“Yes, last week one of my goals was disallowed for offside, and I did not want to celebrate too early.”
Who did you give the shirt from your first goal for Milan to?
“I gave it to my mum.”
On the approach, Pulisic said:
“We have to start matches the way we started today. On other occasions, it has taken us a little while to get into the game. But if we take to the pitch the way we did today, then we can find consistency.”
Do you feel like a leader? Pulisic replied:
“There are many leaders in the team. I do not talk much, but I want to show it on the pitch. Today, even with the injuries, the others put in a great performance. We are a strong team.”
Now an interesting week ahead…
“It will not be easy against Bologna. Then, of course, we will think about the derby.”

“Mbappé.”
