This morning, Luca Bianchin, journalist for La Gazzetta dello Sport, reported that Atalanta has made a €25 million offer for Milan midfielder Yunus Musah.
The proposal is interesting, and the Rossoneri did not respond with a flat “no.” According to information obtained by the MilanNews.it editorial team, however, Milan has made a counter request: to let the American leave, they would require at least €30 million, including bonuses that are relatively easy to achieve. The parties are expected to follow up in the coming hours.
Luca Bianchin spoke on gazzetta.it about Musah’s future:
"Atalanta has a new target for their midfield: Yunus Musah. Could the deal be closed in the coming days? It’s possible, with a deal in the region of €25 million, a figure not far from what Napoli would have paid earlier in the transfer window, when the Italian champions showed strong interest in Musah. The key now is to understand what Milan will decide to do. The Rossoneri have changed a lot in midfield and now have six players: Modric, Jashari, Ricci, Loftus-Cheek, Fofana, and Musah. Allegri in particular values Musah highly for his professionalism and versatility: he can play as a mezzala, as a wide midfielder, or, if necessary in emergencies, as a winger. This will be the battleground for the future of the American, Atalanta, and Milan."
