Today marks the completion of Victor Boniface’s medical examinations before signing with Milan.
The Nigerian striker, who landed at Linate yesterday afternoon, first went to the La Madonnina clinic for initial tests. He then moved on to the Centro Ambrosiano to obtain his sports fitness certification and finally to the Galeazzi hospital for additional physical assessments, ending with a thorough orthopedic check before returning to his hotel.
It is, however, understood that the full routine of instrumental tests was not completed, as the process began late due to his afternoon arrival from Cologne. This morning, the medical examinations will be finalized, and if he receives the green light, Boniface will head to Casa Milan to sign the contract that ties him to the club for the 2025–26 season.
As a reminder, the agreement is structured as a paid loan with an option to buy. Bayer Leverkusen will receive €5 million for this season, and should the Rossoneri decide to make the transfer permanent, they will pay an additional €24 million. Boniface was a key figure in Bayer’s Bundesliga title-winning campaign in 2023/24, and across two years with the German side, he made 61 appearances in all competitions, scoring 32 goals.
