After two straight defeats, Milan Primavera returned to winning ways and welcomed back one of the brightest talents in their youth sector: Lorenzo Ossola. The 2007-born midfielder had not impressed so far in the league, but today he did in Asseminello against Cagliari. The final score was 0-2 in favor of Giovanni Renna’s side.

In the first half, both teams created one clear chance each but failed to convert. Malfitano threatened for the hosts with a powerful strike from distance that Longoni deflected, while Castiello was denied by Kehayov’s save with his foot.
The match opened up in the second half thanks to the Rossoneri’s number 22. In the 55th minute he won and converted a penalty, then in the 62nd provided a brilliant backheel assist for Alex Castiello, who scored from the edge of the box. Castiello almost added a third in the 80th minute but was stopped by Kehayov, who pushed his effort out for a corner.
Oddo's team earned their second win of the season, after the opener against Lecce, bouncing back from consecutive defeats to Sassuolo and Genoa.
