The transfer market closed more than two weeks ago, but it is still a subject of analysis and debate for Milan. Partly because, without European cups, every topic takes center stage for the Rossoneri these days.

Also partly because at Casa Milan, the club made plenty of moves during the summer, with many signings and even more departures, which in turn shifted large sums of money in and out of Milan’s accounts. Corriere dello Sport dedicated a piece today to this financial aspect.
The headline reads:
"A whole new Milan with a positive balance."
Between the heading and subheading, the paper highlighted some concrete figures: "The summer overhaul was almost necessary and was carried out with the books in the black. Sales brought in 190 million euros while the new arrivals cost 157: this is how the squad available to Allegri was built."
In total, Milan completed around 40 operations, between incoming and outgoing deals.
