Yesterday, at Palazzo Marino, the seat of the Municipality of Milan, the City Council met to address the issue concerning the future of the San Siro stadium and the surrounding areas. The first hurdle appears to have been cleared, with the final decision expected on Monday.
The mood is more than positive, as highlighted this morning by the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, which headlined on the San Siro stadium matter:
"Approval for Inter and Milan close."
In the meantime, Minister Abodi will today appoint the facilities manager requested by Serie A, providing further confirmation that the finish line is near.
