Many updates today regarding Milan, both on and off the pitch. The focus is on technical news, especially injuries. For one player returning, another stops: Christian Pulisic is back, while Bebote Gimenez is out with an ankle injury that, according to the Mexican, has been troubling him for weeks.

Pulisic returns?

The news everyone was waiting for. Christian Pulisic’s return is complete. The number 11 trained with the group today and will be available for the away match in Parma on Saturday at 20:45 at the Tardini. The injury suffered on international duty during the last break was long, serious, and problematic for both Milan and Max Allegri. The coach, however, never complained about a situation that, to be honest, would have shaken any Serie A team.

Despite the difficulties, Milan managed to collect points and confidence even without Pulisic, Estupiñán, and Rabiot. More on the Frenchman later. According to Milan News, Pulisic will almost certainly not join the U.S. national team during the international break and will remain at Milanello.

Santiago Gimenez out

Milan striker Santiago Gimenez will stay out for several weeks, at least until after the next international break. Last night, Santi explained the situation himself on Instagram: "I’ve been playing for some time with pain from an ankle problem, I need to stop." A cold shower, but also a sign that the Mexican needs time, physically and mentally, to recover and work on himself calmly. During this period, he will undergo specific treatment to heal the ankle as quickly as possible.

Will Adrien Rabiot be available for Parma-Milan match?

The French midfielder is pushing hard to return on Saturday night in Parma, but the key words at Milan are caution and attention. The soleus is a delicate muscle, and the main goal is to avoid a relapse. Rabiot, strongly wanted by Allegri in the summer, has been included by Deschamps in France’s preliminary squad for the matches against Ukraine and Azerbaijan. From what emerges, Milan are considering not risking him in Parma and instead bringing him back for the derby on November 23, persuading France not to call him up and allowing him to stay at Milanello to fully recover from the left calf soleus injury sustained during the October international break.
