In the latest video on Fabrizio Romano's YouTube channel, transfer market expert Matteo Moretto discussed Milan’s intention to use at least one of the two available non-EU player slots and ended by giving an update on Tomori’s contract renewal. These were his words:
"Milan has two free slots for non-EU players, so in the coming weeks and months, the club will focus more on finding some young talent, or maybe an experienced player who can add something extra. But the club’s strategy leans more toward identifying young non-EU talents, possibly from South America, to strengthen the squad. So keep an eye on these two spots because Milan is working to fill at least one of them."
On Fikayo Tomori:
"Tomori’s contract runs until 2027. Talks for an extension are progressing well and moving quickly. There’s strong optimism, and Milan hopes to reach at least a handshake agreement by Christmas. The club plans to finalize several renewals by then, and Tomori’s is definitely one of them."
