In his usual column for 'Il Giornale', Franco Ordine spoke about Milan after the latest league round, headlining:
"Milan, the harsh truth: they are not equipped to compete for the Scudetto"
The journalist also added:
"Inexperience, naivety, an inadequate squad, and little character: a winning club is not like this."
To support his point, he highlighted and reflected on "the naivety shown by Estupinan at the end of the first half as the first warning sign." He added: "If you then put a spotlight on Fofana, it is easy to summarize his performances as equally disappointing," and discussed the third major disappointment of the weekend, Christopher Nkunku: "after an hour of play, he gave way to Loftus-Cheek with zero regret, a sign of a very modest contribution to the cause."
Ordine also pointed out another aspect that did not convince him:
"There is also a common denominator of a psychological nature concerning the group’s personality. To stay at the top of the league, you need a team that is not afraid to face the storm in the crucial moments of matches."
