Despite the many millions spent in recent years, Milan still has a problem at centre-forward. To try to solve it, at least temporarily, the club is considering repeating the same type of move that brought in Luka Modric: signing an experienced player who could help a youngster like Francesco Camarda grow.
The name strongly linked with the Rossoneri in recent days is Robert Lewandowski, the 37-year-old Barcelona striker.

What is Lewandowski's current situation at FC Barcelona?
His contract with the Blaugrana expires on June 30, and for now the Polish forward has not yet decided whether to stay or leave. The Catalan club holds a unilateral clause to extend the deal for another year, but will activate it only if the player confirms his intention to remain. According to Tuttosport, Milan are monitoring the situation closely and are ready to move if Lewandowski decides to end his spell at Barça.
This option would only solve the centre-forward problem for a couple of seasons, an issue that has persisted for far too long. The last player to perform consistently was Olivier Giroud. After him, things went downhill, and none of the signings met expectations at Casa Milan. Players like Divock Origi, Noah Okafor, Luka Jovic, and Alvaro Morata all disappointed. Santiago Gimenez arrived last January with high expectations, but he too has struggled. For this reason, Milan are considering bringing in a reliable striker, and the name is Robert Lewandowski.
