In fact, the Rossoneri still face the problem of finding a striker who scores consistently. Santiago Gimenez, the only true number nine currently in the squad, is still at zero goals in the league after the first 11 matchdays. Among the names linked to the club for next season is Robert Lewandowski, whose contract with Barcelona is expiring and who has not yet decided his future. Milan’s list also includes Mauro Icardi, the Argentine striker who has a contract with Galatasaray until June 30, 2026.
In recent days, Robert Lewandowski spoke from the Polish national team camp about his future: "I am not in a hurry and I am at peace with myself, this is the most important thing. If, for example, Barcelona contacted me now, I would not know how to answer about my future. I also need to understand what is best for me," as relayed via those at Milan News.
