After acquiring San Siro from the Municipality of Milan, Milan and Inter are now planning their new stadium to be built in that area. The two clubs, according to this morning’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, have created a company called 'San Siro spa', which will manage the entire operation from a financial standpoint.
It has already secured financing from major banking groups: "For the acquisition of the stadium and surrounding areas, an initial credit line of up to 124 million euros has been planned; the second tranche can reach up to 205 million euros; the third and final credit line of up to 25 million euros will cover any final liquidity needs. In total, the financing should reach around 354 million euros," writes La Gazzetta this morning.
