The Super League has been a hot topic of discussion especially when it was announced with 12 founding clubs, including AC Milan. However, the plan soon failed with many clubs withdrawing later.
According to the information provided by Corriere della Sera, UEFA threatens the clubs that still did not withdraw with a 2-year-suspension from European competitions, namely: Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Juventus, and AC Milan.
However, these mentioned clubs are convinced that these sanctions are unfounded as they are prohibited by the sentence of the Madrid Court of last April 20.
