Adrien Rabiot, speaking to Sky, made the following comments about the Scudetto:
On the Scudetto:
“It’s difficult with a team like ours, because only a few players have won before and are used to aiming to win a league, which is long and demanding. Finishing in the top four is the club’s overall objective and we know that. Personally, I aim for something bigger, because if you can get ten, you shouldn’t settle for six or seven."
He continued:
"We have to give everything we have, play every match at one hundred percent, avoid dropping points along the way, and keep working, because the league is still long and we are not even halfway through. What we have done so far is good, but it’s not enough. Is it impossible to think about first place? No, it’s not impossible. What I say, and what I also tell the others, is that we need this mentality of wanting to aim even higher. We have to show our less experienced teammates how beautiful it is to win. Here at Milan, it’s even more so.”
On how he might celebrate winning the Scudetto, Rabiot said:
“My dream is to do everything possible to win this year and then keep growing, because there is always room for improvement. I don’t have any tattoos, but I might get one if we were to win the league. It would be an even more meaningful tattoo. I consider myself someone who thinks a lot before doing things. And yes, for a victory like that, I might really think about it.”
