Here are Massimiliano Allegri’s comments from the press conference ahead of Como-Milan.
On the clash with Fabregas:
“It’s not Fabregas against Allegri, it’s Como against Milan. Fabregas is doing an excellent job. Como are an energetic, fearless team that press well and are technically strong. He’s doing a great job even though he has only been coaching for two or three years.”
On the width of Como’s pitch, Allegri said:
“It changes absolutely nothing. Regardless of the pitch width, the more space there is, the easier it is to play. We will face a team that is difficult to play against: they are first for possession and have the best defense. We are up against a team that does not have the responsibility of having to win, and that gives them an advantage. They can play every match with the mentality Fabregas has instilled in them.”
