On his YouTube channel, Carlo Pellegatti spoke about the upcoming summer transfer window and about what coach Massimiliano Allegri is looking for in new signings. These were his words:
“I cannot give you specific names for the next summer transfer window yet, but it is already important to understand the philosophy behind it. Then we have to see what they intend to do with Camarda. Hopefully he can recover by mid April. I would be sorry if a player who still has everything to prove were already let go, but in that respect Allegri reassures me: whether to sell him, which we hope will not happen, or keep him until January, or send him out on loan again. Right now it is difficult to make predictions. Allegri will look for experienced players, good players, but above all players with a Champions League level mentality."
Carlo Pellegatti added:
"He wants focused players who fully understand the spirit of sacrifice. He wants to work with top level human capital. We have already said that Allegri has identified a strong central defender, a wide player, a high level midfielder and two forwards. Then we will have to assess the situations we already have in house, such as Fullkrug and Nkunku.”
