AC Milan claimed an important 2-0 victory away to Udinese despite several absences, bouncing back from their heavy Europa League defeat to Bournemouth. Ruben Amorim’s side made a strong start at the Bluenergy Stadium and took the lead in the sixth minute, when Christian Pulisic controlled Luka Modric’s superb pass before beating Maduka Okoye with a right-footed finish.
Milan continued to create chances before the break, with Fikayo Tomori and Davide Bartesaghi both coming close to extending the advantage.
Udinese showed greater determination after half-time, but Milan doubled their lead in the 65th minute. Ardon Jashari’s left-footed effort from the edge of the box was parried by Okoye, allowing Omari Hutchinson to react quickest and fire home his first goal in a Rossoneri shirt. Gonçalo Ramos came close to making it 3-0 when his effort was brilliantly tipped onto the crossbar, while Mike Maignan made an important save to deny Keinan Davis late on.
AC Milan ultimately secured all three points with an impressive team performance, strengthening their position in the Serie A standings.
