"Milan reopens the title race."
The Rossoneri are now seven points behind in the standings. Is the championship race open again? It seems unlikely, also because Inter would have to drop many points along the way, but dreaming costs nothing. The match was decided, unexpectedly, by Pervis Estupiñán, who scored his first goal in a Rossoneri shirt. "It’s the most important goal of my life," he said after the final whistle.
After the match, in an interview with Sky, Max Allegri spoke about the standings: "I look at the +9 over fifth place. We have four direct clashes with Lazio, Napoli, Atalanta and Juventus. We must keep work going with our feet on the ground and continue to improve what we are doing. In a season, the first six months serve as a period of adjustment, when you must work to reach March ready to play the matches that really count."
