Davide Bartesaghi, a 2005-born Milan fullback, a guest at the presentation of the 21st Amici dei Bambini Tournament last night, held at Carro Social Club in Sesto San Giovanni. The Milan player, who remained on the bench in the Derby victory against Inter, spoke from the stage in an interview with Ivan Zazzaroni, director of Corriere dello Sport.
Your absence allowed Milan to win: Estupinan played and scored (laughs)... Does that bother you?
"A little, because I didn’t play (laughs). But I’m happy because we took home three points. I’m also happy for Pervis because he’s a good guy and deserves all of this. We’re all happy."
Allegri told me in the summer that Bartesaghi would take Estupinan’s place: and indeed…
"So far the season is going well: I have the trust of everyone, both the coach and my teammates. I’m happy with that and I hope to keep the season going like this. National team? Of course, if the call comes it would be an honor, but right now I’m focused on these matches with Milan."
You haven’t made plans for the break?
"No, I’m completely free! (laughs)"
