The AC Milan midfielder, Youssouf Fofana, who provided a great assist to Pervis Estupinan in the derby victory against Inter, was recently interviewed by SportMediaset.
Here are his statements:
"For the past two or three years I’ve been training with my left foot, and I’m improving. I always try to make the pass that leads to a goal. I’ll try to reach 20 by the end of the season, even though Leao isn’t very happy because I take away some of his work (laughs)."

On his beginnings:
"I started playing in the streets. Ten years ago I was still playing at low levels; my family didn’t have much money, so I started working as a pizza delivery boy. If back then someone had told me ‘you will become a starter for Milan competing for the Scudetto,’ would I have believed it? No, because I no longer believed in a professional future in football; I only thought about playing with my friends. I even thought about quitting around 18. Then I had a trial with Strasbourg, signed the contract, and told myself I couldn’t stop anymore."
On the Scudetto race, Youssouf Fofana commented:
"Are there still chances for the Scudetto? We are Milan; I don’t need to send messages. It shouldn’t be Fofana sending messages. We are Milan, and that’s enough to believe."
