Luca Bianchin, journalist, spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport about Luka Modric's future:
"The decision is Luka Modric's. Milan not only wants him, but if they could, they would tie him to the right goalpost at San Siro. Easy? Not impossible, certainly. Modric is not seriously considering a return to Dinamo Zagreb, which has been much talked about. So the main options on the table are two: a second year with the Rossoneri or retirement. That is why the option for 2026-27, included in the contract signed in the summer of 2025, does not carry much weight: it will be a personal decision."
Recent reports have claimed that the AC Milan club management, as well as head coach Massimiliano Allegri and players are all united in their desire to convince the Croatian player to remain with the Rossoneri team for at least one more season. Read more details HERE.
