After the 0–0 draw against Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri spoke to DAZN microphones as follows:
On managing the match:
"It was a very tactical game, with a lot at stake. Both teams had their chances. The lads defended well, apart from one cross where David got on the end of it. The point is a step forward; now we need two more wins for the Champions League. These are balanced matches and we had the right attitude.”

On the match:
"Against Udinese we conceded three goals without even realising it. Today we allowed a few counter-attacks, but we defended well even when we were a man down. I can’t say anything negative about the players.”
On Rafael Leão, Allegri said:
"I’m an admirer of Rafa. Today he played well; performance-wise it was one of his best. Clearly, someone like him has to decide matches. He needs to improve, but I don’t think you can expect consistent performances from him; it’s something he didn’t have in previous years either. He’s one of those players who lights up at the right moment. Today he also helped in the defensive phase, had a good attitude, and I’m pleased. He also made a couple of bursts that he hadn’t been managing recently. I think it was one of his best performances."
On Christian Pulisic:
"He’s a very sensitive lad; not scoring affects him more. He’s a player who struggles more in physical duels, he feels that more. I need to try to give the team balance; playing without a true centre-forward makes it harder for him," said Allegri.
On the Champions League:
"We need six points, which means two wins at the moment. We have to be sharper in the final 25 metres. Am I calmer? The result is the sum of the points. This is an important point because now we need six, not seven. Now let’s prepare well for Sassuolo."
