Yesterday, Milan-Juventus ended in a draw, a result that perhaps suits Massimiliano Allegri’s side more, as they manage to keep a safe distance, six points, from fifth place. Even so, with four matches left to play, the race for the Champions League is still wide open, not least because, mathematically, at least six more points are still needed, especially for the Rossoneri.
We are therefore heading towards a very intense end to the season in the battle for fourth place. This morning, Il Corriere dello Sport, discussing the Champions League tussle, ran the front-page headline: "It’s not over yet." It remains to be seen which of Milan, Juventus, Como, or Roma will ultimately come out on top.
