The reference is to the last goal scored by Santiago Gimenez in Serie A on 9 May 2025, when he netted a brace against Bologna FC 1909. Since that day, the Mexican has endured a long goal drought and, apart from a goal in the Coppa Italia against US Lecce, he has not scored again in the Rossoneri shirt. On Sunday, the former Feyenoord player is expected to return to the starting line-up against Atalanta BC, and perhaps it could finally be the right occasion for him to break the spell.
