During this week, a new episode of Fabrizio Corona’s "Falsissimo" was released, entirely focused on the world of football and, in particular, on the world of agents and intermediaries. It is an investigation that Corona launched thanks to information provided by Enzo Raiola, cousin of Mino Raiola, who passed away from a serious illness four years ago, and from whom he inherited the football agency business.
Throughout the various phone call excerpts that were published and shown in the video available on YouTube, several figures involved in the transfer market are discussed: among the various names mentioned is also the intermediary Paolo Busardò.
Here is what Enzo Raiola said about Paolo Busardò:
"Today, the richest person in Italy when it comes to intermediary commissions is Paolo Busardò. This is someone who never shows himself to anyone, someone who does not allow anyone to have pictures of him. Yet many deals with Cairo, with Verona, with Roma, with Furlani at Milan, are all handled by Busardò. To give you an example, Inter have just bought Muharemovic, a Sassuolo player: Busardò was involved. Bremer to Juventus? Busardò was involved. Buongiorno to Napoli, who is a player managed by Riso and arrived from Torino, was handled by Busardò. Cairo, who never pays anyone, I know owes Busardò tens of millions of euros in intermediary commissions," as relayed via Milan News.
