Ardon Jashari, the Swiss midfielder, started today in central midfield at Marassi in Milan’s 1–2 win against Genoa. The Swiss holding midfielder spoke to TeleLombardia microphones.
Today, did we see the real Jashari?
"I believe the real Jashari still hasn’t been seen yet. I definitely had some good moments during the match, and the most important thing was winning. But I think the real me will be seen when I have more rhythm and more minutes. Still, I’m happy we won this match."
Was Cardinale important in the dressing room before the game?
"Yes, we felt the pressure. We knew what was at stake all week: now our destiny is in our own hands. We have to win. All of us knew how important today was, and we were all united both on the pitch and beforehand. That gave a lot to the team. I’m very, very happy and proud that we managed to win."
Now do you also need the fans? A message for them in Italian...
"Rossoneri fans, Sunday is our final match. Thank you for all your support throughout the season. Sunday is very, very important: all together, we’ll meet in our stadium, at San Siro, to win the match."
