Today, RedBird issued a statement through the official AC Milan website indicating the termination of contracts of club CEO Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare, technical director Geoffrey Moncada and head coach Massimiliano Allegri. This comes after yet another humiliating and frustrating loss at San Siro, this time against Cagliari, which meant shattering the hope to reach a Champions League spot.
Now, owner Gerry Cardinale, along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Massimo Calvelli are reportedly working to restructure the club. The search for new figures to lead AC Milan is ongoing.
For the coach's job, it seems that Andoni Iraola is a candidate to replace Massimiliano Allegri.
As per our correspondent Vito Angele, Iraola is a "serious contender" for the position with Zlatan Ibrahimovic backing this option.
The 43-year-old Spanish tactician has done very well with Bournemouth in the Premier League in the 2025/2026 season that has just ended as he led them to a 6th place in the table.
